While it is easy enough to create web pages these days (e.g. you can save a Word document and save it as HTML), getting a professional looking site can be more of a challenge. Also setting up a more complex site like an online shop can be time consuming and fraught with difficulty.

About Me
I have worked in Information Technology for more than two decades. . Most recently I have worked in the City of London developing bespoke systems for trading various types of financial derivatives (i.e. futures, options, swaps, etc). I worked hard at it and it was all very interesting, but never really stirred any passion in me.
I paid off the mortgage on my house a few years ago. So I've decided to take a very different tack and have a go at setting up my own web based businesses.
